DIFFERENT STORIES Picture Books – Visit to Sisian Community Library
In the framework of regional visits of DIFFERENT STORIES Picture Books project on June 18th ARI Literature Foundation team visited Syunik region, Sisian Regional Library to present the books “I Speak Through Dancing” and “The Champion” published as part of the project.
The guests of the meeting were 3rd-7th year schoolchildren, teachers, parents and librarians.
Before the reading, we talked with the children about their reading preferences, professional preferences and future profession choices.
The children were very impressed by the reading of the books, and the librarians shared their experiences about reading evenings they organize. They also told us about the program they implement which includes reading and discussing books with children in the park.
