Anush Kocharyan Selected for Residency Exchange Leipzig-Yerevan

Anush Kocharyan was selected to be the resident in Leipzig in the frames of Residency Exchange Leipzig-Yerevan program implemented in collaboration with the Goethe Institute Yerevan, Literaturhaus Leipzig and the ARI Literature Foundation.

Anush Kocharyan is a writer, cultural journalist and art manager from Armenia. Her play Faustatopia has been translated into several languages. Her first volume of poetry Wild Grass was published in 2022, and she is currently working on a novel. From March 3 to 31, she is a literary resident at Eisler Haus eV Leipzig, in collaboration with the Goethe Institute Yerevan, Literaturhaus Leipzig and the ARI Literature Foundation.

Most recently, Anush Kocharyan took part in the transcultural literature project Stories from the Black Sea – Black Sea Lit: The Black Sea has always marked a culturally rich and at the same time bitterly contested space between East and West. In 2024 Anush took part in a panel discussion organized by ARI Literature Foundation in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in the frames of Frankfurt Buchmesse. Literaturhaus Leipzig planned an event with Anush Kocharyan’s participation on March 19, 2025 at the Literature Cafe of the Literaturhaus Leipzig.
